Scrolls
Joseph W. O’Brien
About fifty Paint Poems created by Joseph W. O’Brien from the 1960s through the 1990s were mounted on hanging paper scrolls in China. These acrylic paintings were visual expressions of contemporary and old quotations. The scrolls are in three sizes: square (31X31 inches), rectangular (38X22 inches and 6X3 feet). Below are three examples and more may be seen in Joseph O’Brien’s portfolio on this site. For more information please contact Gerwick Paintings or call 508-481-6260.
